COOL MINI OR NOT-RIVET WARS: EXPERIENTIAL MARKETING/DISPLAY

Atlanta, Georgia

Completed: September 2014

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

A pair of miniature figures from the tabletop board game Rivet Wars: Eastern Front were scaled up to tower over their human makers. The board game features a combination of steampunk and WWI design elements. The tallest figure is 8' tall and the shorter figure is 5' tall. They are used as a photo-op at Cool Mini or Not's trade shows.

PROJECT SCOPE:

While the design concept and 2-D design were submitted to Monster City Studios, our in-house art department rendered both pieces in 3D.  The pieces are fabricated with custom interior steel armatures, engineered bearings, clad with 2 lb. EPS foam, coated with specially formulated polyurea and painted with exterior grade latex paint. The painting was produced to replicate the distinct style that war-gaming and miniature painters apply to their figures.
