IMPERIAL BEACH LIBRARY WOODY: PLAY STRUCTURE/DISPLAY

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
An interactive exhibit in the likeness of a 1940's Ford Woody designed to reflect the beach culture of the San Diego area and the history of the woody. With no doors, children can grab a favorite book, hop onto the bench seat at the back and pretend like they are on a fun road trip or other adventure.
PROJECT SCOPE:
Monster City Studios designed and assembled this piece out of a variety of materials and hardware, sourced from various automotive parts providers. The front end features a fiberglass body clip with matching hardware. The rear end, features our hand-crafted carpentry in clear coated maple hardwood. The whole piece is tied together with in-house steel fabrication.
